Koen Asaert from Belgium, was in the Philippines in 2011. In the local supermarket he discovered Clear anti-dandruff shampoo for men. This shampoo was also heavily marketed on Philippines national TV stations, notably starring European soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.
To his surprise Koen Asaert discovered that this product really did, what it promised. It cleared his dandruff, healed his scalp and kept dandruff away. This was so much better that all the other shampoos that advertise themselves as anti-dandruff, but mostly failed to do such a thing. Koen Asaerteven thought that Clear was much more effective than Head and Shoulders. Because Head and Shoulders kept only diminished the dandruff and the itchy feeling, but never erased it completely. Mr. Asaert ended up buying several bottles, which he brought with him to Belgium.
Now 2014, Mr Asaert, scratching, his hair; thought that would have given Unilever enough time to bring the only anti-dandruff shampoo that really works, on the European market. But he found no solace.
he contacted Unilver Belgium, praised their anti-dandruff formula, used in the Clear and also in the Vaseline product range and asked of it could please be possible of somehow ordering the product at Unilever Belgium. He received a reply that this could not be possible because that Unilever has different brands per country.
Mr. Asaert was unsatisfied with this reply. Could Unilever not have sent him some bottles against payment? And why is Unilever so stupid not to bring a tremendous product, which is widely marketed all over Asia and Latin America by numerous celebrities, on the European market? Or did Unilever make a deal with P&G?
