Tanzwut - Unsere Nacht. Magical Modern Mediaevalism

Tanzwut are back witch a new album  "Eselsmesse", which will be released on June 6th, 2014 and with a video for the song Unsere Nacht from that same album.

Tanzwut started as a side project of medieval band Corvus Corax. You may recognize Teufel, central figure of Tanzwut, with his little devils horns haircut as a bagpipe player in Corvus Corax.
Tanzwut debuted as a hybrid between Corvus Corax purist medieval sound with authentic instruments and modern electronic music. Slowly Tanzwut evolved to a more medieval rock/ folk rock sound, sporadically even journeying on the paths of medieval metal like In Extremo, earning itself a place in Germany's popular Mittelalterrock scene (amongst bands like Subway to Sally, Saltatio Mortis, Letzte Instanz, Schandmaul and In Extremo).

If Unsere Nacht is representative for the whole Eselsmesse album, you may conclude that Tanzwut rounded the circle and ended up at an authentic mediaeval sound, similar to Corvus Corax, where they originated from.

For those who want to discover more Tanzwut from different eras, I have include some more videos.
