Stream of Passion releases video and album "A war of our own"

Female fronted metal band Stream of Passion releasesa  video and single "A war of our own" the title track from the album "A war of our own".

Stream of Passion is a Dutch progressive metal band with symphonic and gothic influences founded by guitarist Arjen Anthony Lucassen and Mexican singer and violinist Marcela Bovio.

The red thread of the album "A war of our own" is conflict in all its forms: personal battles, like disease and depression, corporate battles the band was confronted with themselves, but also the turmoil that destroys a land, mainly the drug wars of Mexico, the native country of Bovio. Musically the band has perfected their sound by ambitiously pushing their boundaries; "A War Of Our Own" is more progressive and melodic than ever, with symphonic elements and an emotional undertone, heavy with Latin-American influences.

LYRICS
Roaring screams
rush over the hills
slicing the air, filling our ears.

Tainted hands
carrying horns of steel.
They claim the road
in the name of fear.

Stay,
the night is filled with terror.
Stay here in my arms forever.
Stay,
between these walls we'll start
a war of our own.

There's no drink
to allay their thirst.
Till the world burns
they won't rest their heads.

Stay,
the night is filled with terror.
Stay here in my arms forever.
Stay,
between these walls we'll fight
a war of our own.
Stay, outside it's raining fire.
Stay were I can
keep you safe and warm.

Stay, outside it's raining fire,
stay until the flames die down.
Stay, my love, and fight
this war of our own.
